Sally KWOK is an emerging film composer hailing from Asia’s World City, Hong Kong. A classical study, Ms. KWOK earned her Master of Art in Music Education from The Education University of Hong Kong, composing “Persist” as her culminating work.

In addition, Ms. KWOK graduated from a film scoring program through the University of California, Los Angeles. She composed for independent films One Man Band (2022)- Los Angeles Based Drama, Apart (2022) - UK Based Drama , Minutes in the World (2021) - Los Angeles Based Sci-Fi, Why Does The Star Fall (2018) - Los Angeles Based Sci-fi and Nigh (2017)- Los Angeles Based Thriller , on top of working on different projects with different directors and producers.

Other notable works include an original music album First Sight (2023) - Original Music for Weddings, Reborn (2023) - Aviation Music, Prestige (2021) - Germany based motion picture production, Summit (2021) and Fly High (2020) - Los Angeles Based motion picture productions. 'Persist' (2016) a live recording performance in Hong Kong Education University of Hong Kong; Abyss (2016) -Composition for Chinese Instrument Gu Zheng; Fall (2016) - For Harp and Percussion; Snow Girl (2014) Soundtrack for a Multimedia Performance), Journey (2016) - A Saxophone Octet,  

Over the years Ms. KWOK has had the privilege of mentoring and introducing over a hundred students to the joy of music, as pianists, music theorists and piano accompanists; she is also active in different music performance and events as a piano or keyboard player. 

As a musician and composer, Ms. KWOK combines her classical training with a passion for storytelling through music. She believes that music has the power to enhance and elevate

visual media, helping to bring stories to life in new and profound ways.

In her work as a music educator, Ms. KWOK is dedicated to fostering a love of music in her students and helping them develop their skills and creativity. She believes that music can be a powerful tool for expression and communication, and she is committed to sharing that gift with others.

With a diverse range of experiences in film scoring, concert composition, and music education, Sally KWOK continues to push the boundaries of her art and explore new possibilities in the world of music. She is a rising talent to watch in the global music scene, with a unique voice and a dedication to both her craft and her community.

Hi there, I am Virginia, an American board-certified music therapist based in Hong Kong. I grew up with a music family. I started playing piano and violin when I was 5 years old. I enjoyed making music with my family. I feel myself whenever I play music. Music has been the best company in my life. Music can soothe my soul anytime when I need it. I am a trained pianist and violinist with over 10 years of experience as a piano and violin tutor. After years of connecting with music, I realized that music is not only for music performance, music education, and music production, music means to me that it has the power to connect people and our well-being. 

I am deeply committed to honoring all people’s experiences, vulnerability, imperfections, and uniqueness. I value heart-to-heart therapeutic relationships and connections with humans. I dedicate myself to helping people connect clients’ bodies, minds, and souls, and find their strengths and power to overcome all obstacles through music. I am deeply committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment for my clients, tailoring my approach to meet their individual needs and goals. I aspire to help my clients achieve holistic integration and unlock their potential through the transformative power of music. With genuine compassion, I actively listen to each person's unique voice, forging meaningful connections, and accompanying them on their therapeutic journey in different stages of life.

My approach stems from my value of collaboration and shaping the music therapy space together in order to meet goals, learn, heal, and grow. I am dedicated to offering music therapy services to individuals of different age groups. Clients include those experiencing emotional distress, dementia patients, neurodivergent patients, children with special education needs, and their caregivers. Additionally, I provide professional training and conduct music therapy workshops for various institutions. 

In my free time, she enjoys performing locally, attending concerts, all outdoor activities, hiking, playing tennis, reading, and spending lots of time with her family.
